Air Hose Whip Checks

Air Hose Whip Checks, also known as Safety Cables, are used to prevent hose from whipping when couplings are accidentally disconnected.

When hose, couplings or clamps fail or accidental separation of the assembly, safety cables minimize damage to equipment and injuries to operations. The cable reaches across hose fittings to provide stand by safety for hose. Spring loaded loops in cable ends allow the cable to pass over the coupling for a firm grip on the hose.

DS Whip Checks are made from steel cable and meet OSHA and MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) safety standards.
