LINK LATCH TO CAM LATCH SYSTEM

Steps outlining the conversion from link latch to cam latch: 1. Remove link latch components as indicated in green 2. Reinstall the spearhead and retraction case components 3. Place the latch spring in the spring pocket between the two latches 4. Keeping these three items together, insert them into the upper latch body through the window in the retraction case 5. Pull up the retraction case to install the new coiled spring pin 6. Release the retraction case and fold in the latches to reinstall the spring pin | NOTE: It is recommend that while upgrading, the spring pin should be replaced with the coiled spring pin included in this kit (item #3). | |
