Inner Tube Coupling The inner tube coupling and lower inner tube can be used to extend core barrels from 1.5 M (5 FT) to 4.5 M (15 FT), or 3.0 M (10 FT) to 6.0 M (20 FT) lengths in consolidated ground conditions. Example: To assemble a 6.0 M (20 FT) core barrel, use a 3.0 M (10 FT) core barrel plus the following: • 1 outer tube 3.0 M (10 FT) • 1 inner tube stabilizer • 1 inner tube 3.0 M (10 FT) • 1 inner tube coupling
